The visit price is the shopper's fee plus the Mysterly margin. What the shopper has to spend on your premises — a meal, a coffee, a treatment, a night's stay — is billed separately at cost, up to a cap you set when ordering.

GPS check-in and check-out inside a geofence, in-app camera only for key photos with EXIF retained, receipt matching against date and total, a minimum time on site, and a human reviewer who reads every report before it is released. Reports that fail these checks are rejected and not paid.

Yes. Start from one of the industry templates and edit the questions, sections, weights and scoring. Every template is editable, and your changes are saved as your own version.

You can rate the report, request clarification from the reviewer, or open a dispute within 7 days of delivery. Disputes are resolved by the QA team. If the report was wrong, you are credited up to the full visit price as Mysterly credit — book the visit again with it, or withdraw it.

The visit fee plus reimbursement is released to the shopper after the report is approved, typically 2–3 days after submission. Funds sit in escrow from the moment the business orders the visit.

Video, yes — where the law at that location allows it. Photos and an itemised receipt are the standard evidence on every visit; video is there for the shops that need it, like a luxury retail or automotive walkthrough. Mysterly checks the rules for the country or state before a shopper is allowed to record. In Indonesia and Singapore recording is allowed case by case: public areas only, and never where a notice, the venue or the law forbids it. Where the rules have not been established, recording is refused rather than assumed. Shoppers never capture identifiable staff faces, and the business agrees on every job not to ask for anything unlawful. Photos and videos are kept for one month after the job is finished, then deleted; the business can download any it wants to keep.
